Speaking of which, the previous federal goverment rolled back the Navigable Waters Protection Act which removed many legal protections from our water courses; GPC is hosting a petition to re-instate the previous legislation - Please have a look!

Thanks to everyone who attended our information session on Electoral Reform on Sunday, October 2, from 2-4 pm, at the Wychwood Public Library, 1431 Bathurst (near St. Clair West Subway Station).

Wayne Smith from Fair Vote Canada gave a presentation highlighting the various options available to the government and discuss the pros and cons of each. Additionally, a presentation was also given on the Dual Member Proportional voting system.
